I'm running a European spec. V-Max.(i.e. no V-Boost)
I have fitted a Stage 7 Kit with K&N drop-in.
After trimming the lid of the box, i found that i lost torque in the
midrange and gained in topend.
Now what's the difference between decreasing the flow before the
airfilter, or after the carbs.(V-Boost system)?
I've taped the lid a bit, so i get the right mix of topend and midrange
power.
I was thinking of making a sort of V-Boost for the airbox.
Any input?
