Rick,
Running 110 octane gas is a waste of MONEY unless you have a high
compression engine.
The stock VMAX engine doesn't need it. My 94VMAX owners manual says 91
RON MIN.
91 octane gas is available almost any where.
Also as any serious racer knows, buying racing fuel from ground
storage tanks is never the
best source. ALL ground storage tanks have water in them, have u ever
seen the gas station
owners pouring 5 gallon jugs of gas line anti-freeze in their ground
tanks ?? They do this
every winter. Also most local non-race gas places use the same
underground tanks for
winter heating fuel.
