Well I never did get the Super Brace on, seem sometimes the holes don't
quite line up, but I did not remove the front wheel. Just take off four
bolts in the brace and tilt the fender out with the stock part attached.
Once off the fender can be detached from the stock brace (not much of a
brace really).  Now that this thread is going I'll have to give it another
try. Perhaps removing the front wheel will loosen things up so the
Superbrace will fit, I do remember reading in the newsletter of others that
had trouble fitting the brace.

Well
I replaced my brace about 2 weeks ago w/ a super brace.  It was super easy,
didn't have to remove the wheel, just unbolted the old one ...tilted it
sideways and pulled it out .......removed the fender put it on the new one
and bolted it back on....nothing to it....about 15
