Agreed. Well, maybe not poor machining but poor layout. I examined one and
decided to design/machine my own.

Thats correct. I bought a SuperBrace and I had to twist both front forks
inward
to make it fit...which put stress on the axle. I took it back off and got a
refund. Very poor machining....quality.
