I would like to thanks the large number of Maxers who have come to my aid in this
time of oil consumption. Several have taken the time out of there lives to scower
over my pictures of plugs and exhaust and manuels to give me their best shot. This is
what makes the Max comunity what it is... Aagin my thanks to all.
I am going to run my "P-51" for one more 800 mile trip on the 25th on YamLube
Race(Ican't remember it drinking this) and keep rechords of the oil consumption.
I just got my K555 tire in and as soon as I get it mounted I will try the various
acceleration/decelleration test many have suggested.
With all the E:Mails downloaded and printed in hand on the 26th, I am going to drop
my Max off at the dealer and begin my fight with Yamaha. I be sure to post what the
factory mechanics "find" as the problem. Hopefully the E:Mails will stop them from
charging me $60 dollars an hour while they make sure the air pressure is right in the
tires or some horse$hit like that.
My question is: what is a good front tire match for the K555?

PS: At leat in El Paso, those ratBa$tards charge you 1/2 hour labor($37) to R&R a tire
even if you have pulled the rim off the bike and handed it to them. I could have had
them changed out the front at the same time for the same amount of money!!! Live and
learn.
