The street rod guys I know that run VERY high horsepower engines
on the street
almost always have to get custom radiators made. I bet someone makes a
bigger
radiator for the max, this seems like a natural item for madmax or PCW
to sell.
Most of my racing experience is from Big Block chevy drag racing
engines, they run
HOT !! I had a 67 camaro that weighed 3365 lbs and ran a best of
9.72 et at
142 mph in the quarter. I ran a "tiny" VW alunimum radiator in the race
car, but that was
strickly for limited running time drag racing conditions. I've known
guys who had
4 core radiators made for Big Block chevys on the street.
