Hello fellow Maxer's
 I have a 2001 that I now have about 1500 miles on.
I changed the oil with the Mobil 1 Motorcycle oil at
800 miles. ( $8 bucks a pop )
I put the Super-Trapps on with a full set of disks and
added a 1/4-20 nut under the end of each screw to open
them up a little more. ( Sounds great! )
I also added the K & N filter
I read the list everyday and I have some projects in
mind.
I have some concerns and questions.

1) Who is PCW? And are they on the web? And where are
they?
2) What is the "Drilling the brass plugs out" going to
do for me and how do i do it?
3) I am way too short for my bike and I need more than
a custom lower seat. And wouldn't that make long rides
uncomfortable?
How do I get the bike down without sacrificing the
suspension?
4) I have brand new Dunlop Qualifiers. The ass end
likes to push out on me, Should I go to the Michelin
or the Metzlers in the rear?
5) Besides the Furbur fix, are there any other front
end enhancements that I need to do? I have had her up
to about 140 MPH and above 100 or so she is real
scary.
6) What is this "Shim the Y Box" and do i need to do
it and if so, how?
7)I think my carbs are out of Sync. How do i check the
syncronization?
8) Should I consider re-jetting? Even with the stuff I
have?
I9) Is it a good idea to leave V Boost on all the time
with a new bike?
10) I have tried to break it in right. Only on the
freway once and even then I varied the speeds from 100
to 60 constantly.
I am 48 and have ridden off and on since I was 12 (
Ohio didn't require a bike license back then) I had
Harleys and Triumph's and Hondas, Susukis and Yamahas.
Believe it or not every one had a rear drum brake. So
when I hit the brakes on my Max it is a dramatic
improvement over anything I have every had and you
guys like to stop faster?
Anyway, I appreciate any and all feedback and all will
be considered. However, "Young Man Don", How far do
you live from me and can I bring Maxine over to have
you help me wrench on her? Just kidding.

Dave
