Howard, you don't want the tank empty. Fill it to the top. Then add a
good additive, Stabill works. Then ride the bike a short distance, get
on the boost. Come back and drain the float bowls. Retop the tank off
and you won't have any problems. Either pull the battery, you can clean
the box, or use a Battery Tender so when riding weather returns your
ready. Also change the oil and filter before hand.
