There have been a lot of negative comments about running a slick and wheelie
bars on the Vmax. Here's my $.02 worth: I raced my '85 Vmax for 3 years
using a Kosman 18" shaft drive wheel w/ 6" Goodyear slick and Pingel wheelie
bars/struts. The only thing I ever broke was 2nd gear, but that was due to
my negligence in setting up my Holeshot power shifter (I initially dialed in
