Mine does the same thing. Sometimes 2nd, sometimes 3rd, but not together. Some talk of X1R?? Some type of additive thats
supposed to make it shift easier, haven't tried it, but I will. I noticed that I get a much more positive shift w/my steel toes boots on
over just tennis shoes. Mines got 13K, I believe its inherrent to shaft drive bikes. Just some thoughts....Troy

Hi, I'm a new Max owner (since Aug.11/1400 miles)...this is a new bike; my
second gear shift is rough, all the other gears kinda go in with a single
"clunk" (sorry to be so technical) and second gear kinda does a two part
"ka-clunk"---I was told that this the tranny is not fully broken in yet and
that this should improve---will it? Just wondered what I'm looking at here,
and if this is normal...?
