Welcome to the Vmax WEAK link, 2nd gear (shifter arm) problems are not
unusual
Was supposed to have fixed by Yamaha a long time ago. The dealer will try to
say its
your driving i.e.. bad shift. I would take it back to dealer and DEMAND
replacement!!
If it goes out, your lookin at about $1,200/1500 bill.
