Thanks Eric, a speedy recovery to you.
My brakes are a little better than OEM (R1 calipers and EBC-HH pads) if
anything their extra bite is nicer to use with the front end mods as the
dive is way reduced.
I went for a ride this morning before the predicted rain. The traffic was
very light and I could have a ball.
Went over all the lousy roads around here which I usually hate, the results
are wonderful, smooth, safe tracking around normally bumpy corners where you
are waiting to correct normally.
Front end now won't bottom or oscillate as it glides over all types of
surfaces with a minimum of fuss. The way mine is may not be as firm as some
would prefer but I love it.
I can now feel the inadequacies of the stock rear shocks. I won't buy the
"Works" shocks as I can get some Koni (adjustable, rebuildable) shocks
easily over here for under $400.00 Austalian. That's about $220.00 U.S. The
Works are about double that for me without overseas freight, any comments on
the Koni's anybody?
Are the Works worth all that extra cost?
