I forgot to mention, the bike has a 4-1 D&D exhaust and a K&N airfilter. At
the front of the airbox, there is a nipple on the bottom that looks like it
is supposed to be for a crankcase breather. This nipple is capped off and
the normal breather is just a hose pointing toward the back of the engine.
Is this normal with the K&N setup or did the previous owner jury rig
something else?
We have taken the carbs apart and checked everything. They look good. No
rips or tears. The slides look good as well.

pull the slides out and see where the needles are and that they are
all equal etc ...and that they all move freely ... have no holes in
them .. rips, tears etc ......
