:-)  sorry ST, been one of those days..  Thinking back, I'm sure there have
been posts from a few 'generously in-seamed' Maxers riding lowered seats
without problem.. (damn, or was it the other way around..)    Perhaps you
could try taller shocks to get around the problem?  Or have your Max seat
built up and re-covered (instead of lowered) to your own design by an
upholsterer?
