            i think i understand your point. i'm 5'4" and have a certain 
amount of leg to torso ratio of height, if, as is the case alot of the time, 
you being taller have a grater persentage of your height in "leg" than torso 
then you have a legitament concer about seat to peg relationship.
            i rode an R6 for about 10 min.s lately and that setup was so 
contrary to my body shape(pegs just to high and far back for me) that i had 
to go have my back put back in place.
            i have however lowered my seat like the UFO/SportMax convertions 
and it has made a great improvement for me.
            one thing you can try(like i did) to see if you like the lower 
position is to take off the seat cover and foam and ride on the bare base. 
you probably won't want to do any "iron butt" marathon riding like this but 
you can get a feel for it and check the peg relationship. i guess the easier 
route would be to take the seat off completely and try it.
            don't know if i'd actually ride it this way, the coils are right 
under a spot you don't want to expose to high voltage discharges.
