The edge code on brake linings for motorcycles, trucks, buses, and cars, is a state law requirement in ,I can't remember 6 or 7 states. The letters are for friction level hot and cold per some SAE standard that I also can not recall but are in no way proprietary to EBC.Well, seems I was wrong.. (but I cannot recall) LOL
