I will switch too.

I believe I have found cases where the first build somehow doesn't make a snapshot that d8 will pick up correctly. The symptom would be "make x64.release -j8", then run out/x64.release/d8. It would fail to start up due to "unexpected native" in the bootstrapper. This symptom goes away when I simply rebuild again, after changing no files. It could be something is borked on my side, but I think this describes what I have been seeing.
