Update: Haven't been able to make this work, yet. Other than fixing the
make generator, we might also modify the build to simply avoid any
multi-output rules. Which would be more work, but would probably fix this
issue for good. (I'll be OoO next week, so no progress until afterwards.)
@everyone: Please also consider switching to ninja, which doesn't have
these issues.
@wingo: Your issue sounds like a different thing, though: This bug is about
things being built strictly too often; not that build results would be
incomplete or corrupt. Which matches my observation. Maybe - not sure -
yours might be a dependency issue, too, but if so, it would be the opposite
kind: Missing dependencies, so that things are not rebuild even though they
should. In either case, I'd be thankful for any additional information.
