To confirm #4, the pattern (LHS of assignment for default parameters) is
properly rewritten, but no rewriting is done to the initializer. However,
this isn't simply a matter of running the initializer through the same
logic: besides the logic being different, the set of AST nodes that could
need rewriting includes just about everything that's currently unsupported
in the rewriter (see "NOT_A_PATTERN" at the bottom of pattern-rewriter.cc).
