I think this is WAI. The new implementation is faster, and precise enough. Any test or program that depends on higher precision should be fixed to be less strict, as relying on bit-for-bit floating point precision is a bad idea in general.

I've actually inspected those webaudio tests. A few signed 16bit integer values that used to be -1 are now 0. Which value is "better"/"more correct" is anyone's guess.
