This discussion leads nowhere. I will invest some time to see whether table
lookup with Taylor series will yield results closer to the ones you expect
and still be reasonably fast. But given that the ECMA script spec is very
vague about this, I don't see the need to mimic one approximation with
another, especially when neither can claim to be anything close to accurate
in corner cases. I'm not convinced that Math.cos(Math.pow(2,120)) needs to
be 0.47796506772457525.
