Not all A/S shock installations are the same, they varied over time and with the size 
of the trailer.  The Caravel used a simple gas shock in a vertical compression 
position. Later tandem axle trailers had them in a horizontal postion and seems to an 
Airstream only part.

$38 ea is a great price!  Sure beats what NAPA charged ($55 ea.).
