Patty & Chris,

I have a 76 31 ' Sovereign and added two group 29 batteries opposite the
sink in the cupboard to the aft of the fridge. This placed them over
the axels. I put the batteries in Rubbermaid containers and vented them
out the fridge area - a small rubber hose worked just fine. It is a
little "tight" and I need a mirror and a flashlight to check the fluid
levels.

For wiring, instead of going under the trailer, I chose to go aft to the
closet, up
and over the walkway (in the bar at the ceiling) down the wall and below
the sink to the battery box. I used 8 gauge wire. I also added a Heart
Interface Link 100 electrical gauge near the access door to the water
pump and fuse area near by the front door. This allows a quick check of
voltage, amp-hrs consumed etc.

I also put in another group 29 Inter-State in the normal outside battery
box. And have two solar panels and last summer installed a 2500 watt
inverter.

Cheers,
