Dick, I did go to the web site, and where I didn't find instructions, I did find contact phone numbers. If nothing else, I suppose I could request a manual direct from the company. Thank you. Anyone else on the list have experience with Hayes Lemmerz brake controllers. Are they good?
Bob
Go to the web site at

but you'll have to look around to see if they have instructions. I know Tekonsha has full instructions for their controllers on their web site, but I did not see any here.

Hello, First time writing to the list. I've recently purchased a 1975 25ft Airstream from the original owner, actually the estate, and I'm very anxious for warmer weather so I can get it cleaned, and ready to go. It's in very good original condition, and little needs to be done with it. My problem is this. I've never towed anything this large, and I'm moving up from a popup camper. I've purchased a '99 Ford F250, and the dealer where I purchased this vehicle installed, at my request, a new brake controller. Now, I have no idea how to use it as the instruction manual wasn't left in the vehicle. Can anyone give me a brief run down on how to use it. It's a Hayes Lemmerz Energize 111. On the left side of the unit it has a white lever, and on the front of the unit, it has a slide. It also has a red button that goes on when ever I apply the brakes. The airstream is still in storage, and wi! ! ll be for at least anoth! ! er month. Would appreciate any help. Anyone who does respond, please assume I'm completely ignorant on how to use this unit, because I am. Thanks,
Bob
