Tubeless tires tend to run cooler because the tire and the tube don't slide against each other as the tire sidewall flexes. If you have a flat on the road, you may have to hunt for hundreds of miles to find a shop that will work on the two piece rim. Most have forgotten how, or a truck sized split rim killed their expert in split rims. Shop safety rules enforce that decision whether OSHA (state or federal) or insurance rules. I know workable rims are available, and probably similar looking rims are available. You have to watch rim width and offset. Custom wheel shops have extensive catalogs of rims of all descriptions from plain to fancy to outrageously wild. Chrome wheels with baby moon hubcaps would be not far from appropriate. Gerald J.
