On Maui I had a 1963 Streamline. I replaced the old water heater with a
small Paloma "on demand" water heater. Ten years ago it cost $250. I have
not been able to find the Paloma in California but it was wonderful. Not a
drop of energy wasted until you turn on the spiggot.
Great for those who seek a one hour shower.
