I don't think you would ever need/want one with an A/S Tradewind. With
truck and trailer brakes I'm sure you have completely satisfactory braking.
Surprisingly, 2001 Dodge catalogs specify that manual transmission equipped
Dodge-Cummins trucks towing a trailer weighing more than 10k pounds are
required to use a Jacobs "JakeBrake" exhaust brake.
I tow an A/S weighing about 7500 - 8500 pounds and think an exhaust brake
would be a nice accessory to add.
