I remember the first time that I saw the window wiggles... I loved it...
but Gutsy had a bug in it where in certain cases windows would
twitch non-stop. (If my top menu bar was not expanded to be full-width)
Luckily Hardy Heron has fixed that, and I'm using Extra visual
effects again on my machine.

I just had another one of those moments: Rick, try this:

hold down the alt key, and roll the mouse wheel over a window.
It's about as useful as wiggling windows so far, but I love it!

And my personal favorite: Set your virtual desktops up to be
one desktop wide, by 4-5 tall. (My Workspaces have one column
and five rows.) Now, with your mouse hovering over an empty
part of the desktop, roll your mouse wheel: It's scrolling for
the desktops.

I have to use boot back to XP for a few hours a day, but I'm always itching
to get back to Hardy Heron when I can.
