Dear Stan,
I believe I still have a Verizon EVDO PCMCIA card from my days in the
city. I cannot believe that there could be drivers for it, but I was
under the impression that the silly thing spoke the old Hayes Modem "AT"
command set.
I have never even heard of internal hardware implementation of this
proprietary system in any hardware.
Interesting.
Regards,
Flint

Subject: Verizon USB/PCMCIA Cards in Linux?
Does anyone have first hand experience with Verizon EVDO in Linux
(distribution agnostic)via teathered device, or a usb/pcmcia device?
Second question - Whats the smallest laptop that will come with, or can have
a Verizon EVDO 'card' internally (no clearly user removable component).
Stan
