Ok, I've mostly stayed out of this. But I do think that if we're trying to
have a civil list where we hold civil conversations about Linux and other
topics, then perhaps we should lay off making potentially insulting
statements about either political and the religious subjects.
There is a big difference between discussing differing beliefs and even
disagreeing strongly about them, and mocking or insulting the preferences
of others. Suppressing the former is censorship. Resisting the urge to
engage in the latter is common courtesy.
