Depends.  If all you want is e-mail and web browsing, that's not
necessarily
true.  The problems always come up when you want 3D graphics or to access
your
digital video camera, etc.

Linux-based operating systems serve geeks and simple users well.  It's that
80%
of users in the middle that are harder to deal with.
