Paul--

The other day, when you were here, you used multiple workspaces. Wonderful! I'm
starting to do that. When I started up the next morning your spaces were still
there. How did you do that?

I would like to be able to set up workspaces and close down and then, on
rebooting, have them come up automatically. I've googled on this, but can't
find out how to do it.

I'm discovering interesting, and difficult, things about how to use usb drives
both in ubuntu and VBox. At the moment I'm using the installation files for
Palm to capture the usb drives in VBox after they've been used in ubuntu. There
must be an easier way to do it, but I don't know what it is.

I guess I like computing because it's like one big crossword puzzle.

Thanks,

Hope to see you at my house one of these days. Let me know when you'd like to
come. We'll plan on feeding you again.

Dear Jonathan,

Ah, I always wondered why I purchased that shipping container next to my
house...
