    Greetings Jonathan and Rick White,

While we are on the subject, a real sadist might ask this question
    on a midterm exam...

On your Ubuntu Linux system, using the file
/usr/share/dict/american-english please disclose how many natural
single word palindromes there are in the file.

A very elegant answer to this question is the following code segment:

perl -lne 'print if $_ eq reverse' /usr/share/dict/american-english
    | wc -l

    SOURCE: http://dsl.org/cookbook/cookbook_16.html#SEC239

Please, both of you, refrain from requiring further epistolic
contact to be in multiword palindromes...

Are we not drawn onward, we few, drawn onward to new era?

    Regards,

    Flint.

Indeed, in the large, that interpretation matches my intent. My
canonical (pretentious) definition is 1/day=yad. Also, day.yad
is a mirror effect with the dot, so yes, day spelled backwards.
I use it to express the notion of the liminal space between day
and night, and more-so to encourage some reflection on the day.

I can't for the life of me figure out your sig. Is

                it 'yet another day'?

I also like this interpretation. I've never thought if it that
way, but it is in line with my original intent, if a bit more
cynical an interpretation than I originally intended.

I've been hand-writing this sig for about 14 years now, it
always generates interesting comments and conversation. A
property owing to its opacity to many people, I think, and its
room for interpretation. But that's nothing new in the realm of
        sigs.

        Thanks for asking. :)
