Probably both, but the latter is where I find the greatest interest.
Bringing together people from these different groups to share talents
and interests.

I'd love to know more about the special interests of these .NET folks
:)  Seriously though, I don't think a .NET developer is any more or
less of a programmer than someone that hacks away at shell scripts all
day.  Different tools for a different job.  Heck, I think jsled is
living in the stone age with his use of Emacs to develop Java apps,
but he's still an alright guy :)

Sure.  I'd also throw in a few dollars for beer and pizza (or burgers,
as the case may be)
