Cyclos is Java based (can't be inexpensively hosted on a free dreamhost
account, or google app engine easily).  A goal of our project would be
hosting on commodity low cost hosting platforms.

Also; Cylcos is actually fairly overkill -- and not superfriendly to use.  I
evaluated it 6 months ago or so.  That being said; it never hurts to have
competition.
