Amazingly, in this day and age, statist bureaucrats still know zip about open source sw, even the Windows systems that can run it, i.e. Firefox, OpenOffice.org, etc. During the time I served my sentence with these assclowns, I tried, unsuccessfully, to educate them about open source and IT security for statist projects. They have since been using our tax dollars for Windows licenses and been hacked on a regular basis by kidz. The Feds are in even worse shape. I now despair of educating them thusly, and have opted out of IT, after twelve years of experience. And being treated like garbage by management. We will use open source here at our home network as we watch Our Nanny, The Almighty State, go down in flames, forthwith.
And now, back to the tomato blight, the failed eggplants, and problems with peppers. Next spring, a different methodology for the veggies, apples, chickens, and whatever else we decide to play with here. Our best wishes to those still so employed and we dig all the tips we get here and with the NH LUG.
