Rion, Where do you see any indication that list.uvm.edu is serving ASP files? I see you posting links to files on lsoft.com with the .asp extension -- and you can safely assume lsoft is running on a Microsoft operating system (a marketing adventure) -- but what does that have to do with uvm's listserv?
lsoft.com, however, backlinks to UVM through the URI you provided ( www.lsoft.com/scripts/wl.exe?XH=LIST.UVM.EDU), however, this is clearly not from a uvm.edu machine. I would assume lsoft somehow caches a local copy of UVM's lists (interesting?) for some purpose, perhaps SEO? I tried wl.exe?xh=adomainiown.com, and lsoft did not dynamically query my domain (atleast on standard ports). The manual does not seem to have an easily identifiable section on this feature.
