Absolutely.  The speaker is an invited guest, coming clear across the
country, and deserving of utmost respect.

The goal would be to formulate Honest, Interesting, yet Opinionated
questions that challenge the view of software-related patents in a
business context as a necessary or even positive thing.  The goal would
be to improve everyone's understanding of the complexity of the issue,
via the question and its answer … nothing else.

Seeking only to heckle is inefficient for everyone concerned.
