Also, I just played with gnome again. It does have an on-screen keyboard
(not a great one, swipe up from the bottom), but everything feels very
clunky and bad. Scrolling through the big apps array is disjointed and
hard to do, it is easier to use the sequence of buttons on the side
(ironic). It is hard to hit upper left corner button for some reason,
you seem to have to tap it just right, you certainly can't just slide in
from the bezel like you would expect. I'll try Ubuntu again soon.

I remember that the X windows managers started to suck when they started
copying Windows95, but now I'm wishing they would copy Windows 8.1,
which is pretty nice, although I could do without Microsoft's tiling
window manager, which is constantly booting one of the apps I'm looking
at off the screen. Why can't I open all apps in the stacking window
manager? Oh, well. I hope I'm keeping you entertained out in Vague land.
