It depends.  (you weren't expecting a simple answer, right?)
For one thing it depends when "last time" was.  It also depends
on what exactly it is complaining about.

Try the current trunk, r12468.  I committed a fix (r12467) which
reduces one source of noise on MacOSX -- whether or not it will help
you I don't know.  If it still acts up, post some of the relevant
errors here, or (better) file bug reports.  In short, if there are
still problems, it may be possible to fix things, but just to say
"it produces a lot of noise" (effectively) unfortunately doesn't give
enough information to diagnose the problem(s).
