I am having an awful time getting the scenario file updater to work
correctly. I had made some changes to a module with 15 scenario files
(Clash for a Continent) in which I had changed a unit property. When I
opened the new v2 scenarios, I discovered that extra pieces appeared
in almost all of them, many if not all of them with the old
properties. I had recently released a new version of Hammer of the
Scots, and I now was concerned there might be problems there too. I
was horrified to discover that half the English infantry was missing
in one scenario and there were double the number of archers. I have
immediately deleted the new version, and I will rebuild the scenarios
from scratch tonight.

Operating the scenario update was unclear to me. What I did was to
first open the v1 editor and export the pieces to a file
(piecesv1.info). I then exited and ran the v2 editor. I imported
piecesv1.info, and then selected the 15 scenario files from v1. I then
hit "update".

I was surprised to see that it prompted me 15 times for which side I
wanted to play as if it were opening each scenario as a new game. This
was not in the documentation.

When it finished, I tried to exit the editor, and it asked me if I
wanted to save the module. I had not changed the module, so I didn't
understand why it was asking unless it had changed the scenario files
embedded in the module. I don't think it did or does because I save
the module with a new new name and discovered the scenarios were not new.

At this time, I don't trust the scenario updater.
