Sort of, I've just copied my scripts from one module to the next and
tweaked the parameters...

This seems possible. My scripts currently are tailored my to computer and
server and have grown from my needs over time, but they could certainly be
made more general for others to use. Some things like SVN hooks however,
are probably going to be difficult to make more general because people can
set Subversion up in so many different ways (and probably want them to do
different things).
I can help you set up your scripts/batchfiles and perhaps you can post
those for general use.
Perhaps we could get some other things added to Vassal, like support for
SVN/CVS keywords. Right now I like to have the SVN keyword $Id$ in my
version string so I know what SVN revision the module was built from.
Perhaps Vassal could be made to handle this separately in some other way?
This is a total aside, but I started separating my release info and SVN
keyword with in the version string. This makes Vassal do a
newline after the release info when it shows the version when loading up
(you can see it in my hunters and gatherers module).
