Josh,

As David said, but sides are keys to the password, not to the name.

Start a new game and select one side. Save it, change your password and load
the game, taking the other side.

Now you can change between the two sides at any time just by changing your
password.

When you start the game, enter a name in Preferences. Choose which side to
play. Finish your turn and save it. Then open the game again and enter a
different name in Preferences. Load the saved game file. That will allow you
to play the other side. Keep alternating the sequence. I believe that is how
I used to do it.
