Hello all, A program called VirtualBox, version 1.6.6, although doesn't officially support Windows 7 as a host, does indeed work. I am having no problems so far and will stick to this version. The only reason being it is the last accessible version before 2.x and later which has the user interface re-written to the point it's not easily accessible but usable with the keyboard. Also, version 1.6.6 works with the major screen readers; 2.x and later will work, with some caveats. For example with NVDA performance is quite sluggish and when looking around the screen with object navigation it occasionally falls by rapidly playing descending tones to the point it's inaudible. NVDA in turn crashes at that point. JAWS, well, it's bearly usable; nothing can be seen with the JAWS cursor. Window-Eyes works a little better but not perfect. Cobra, discussed previously, works somewhat more better, but again could be a lot better. Anyway just wanted to let you know. Just because a software wasn't written for Windows 7 doesn't mean to say it won't install and/or work! It's just a case of trying. From Chris. P.S. For those who don't know, VirtualBox is a program to run virtual machines, similar to VMware or Windows Virtual PC. The website is www.virtualbox.org. Enjoy! -- Sent using Thunderbird
