I am using the non OSE version of VirtualBox version 3.8.2, under Ubuntu
10.04 AMD64. I have a ISB to serail port convertor set up, on a Sun V40.
Under Ubuntu this device shows up as /dev/ttyUSB0. I need to make this
serial port be avaialbel to XP runiing as a VM.

In the VB GUI setup screen, I have enabled serail port 1 set the prt number
to comm1, set the port Mode to host device, and set the port file path to
/dev/ttyUSB0. When I start the software that needs the serial port on the
XP instnace, it does not present me with any valid serial port choices.

Any sugestions as to how to troubleshoot what the problem is here?
