the virtualbox software is in whatever your distribution choose to
setit up (or Oracle's install app), you have to install it as root, as
you have later to run the setup each time you update the kernel

you have to install it like on any PC. You probably don't want to have
the virtual disks on ~/.virtualbox, so choose a place to store the
disks (and create them at first) - this place have to keep room...

then lauch virtualbox and use the "new" button. Read the doc, may be...
