despite the fact that the user manual insists i can select up to 32
CPUs for my guest OS, at the moment, i am limited to 8 with the
warning that i've assigned more virtual CPUs (8) than i have physical
CPUs (4) and that this is likely to degrade performance. that may be
true but shouldn't that be *my* choice?
also, on that same tab, i notice that i'm allowed to enable PAE/NX.
but if i'm running both a 64-bit host and 64-bit guest, what is the
value in selecting that? would it make any difference whatever?
