Hi Yankeebean and Kor,

Thanks for your tips.  Turns out I was already using the settings 
suggested.  The main problem seems to be that every time phase one 
finishes and the system re-boots, it stops on trying to initiate the 
video system, and pegs the CPU.  The VBox settings for the VM Display 
were pretty basic: 16 MB of video memory, one monitor, no 2D or 3D 
acceleration, and Remote Server not enabled.

I'll see if the VirtualBox forum readers have any suggested remedies for 
this.
