Oops! I'd previously sent to this list two messages that were intended
for the comp.os.os2.apps newsgroup (it was late at night), one addressed
to "Yankeebean and Kor" and the other to "Alex Taylor". Please
disregard them. My apologies.

For this list, here's more detail about the problem I'm experiencing.
For reference here's the original query:

Alex Taylor pointed out that the 'endless loop' wasn't. Getting past
that let me get to the end of Phase One of the install, leading to a
re-boot. That proceeded until it came time to load the video system, at
which point the CPU pegged at 100% and stayed there until I quit the
VM. The exact same thing happens regardless which video system I try
for the guest (possible choices are: VGA, GRADD, SNAP, and Panorama).

The Extension Pack for VB 4.1.2 is loaded and active, and the Display
settings for the VM are pretty basic: 16 MB of video memory, one
monitor, no 2D or 3D acceleration, and Remote Server not enabled. So
this is where I'm stuck, in which the VM seems unable to interface with
the host's display.

Can anyone suggest remedies, or what more information I need to
provide? Thanks.
