Hello. I have VirtualBox (v 4.1.14) on a Windows OS. I have downloaded an appliance. While importing the appliance, which came in a file.ova format, with the Appliance Import Wizard, at the beginning of the process where I am shown the Appliance Import Settings dialogue, I see at the bottom of the window a checkbox labelled "Reinitialize the MAC addressof all network cards". By default it was initially unchecked, and so I chose to leave it unchecked. What is the purpose of the feature, and when am I likely to need it? Thanks.
